The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 7th, and Monday, April 10th, 2023, as public holidays in celebration of this year’s Easter festivities. In line with this announcement, the management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, is informing all staff, students, and the polytechnic community about the break and the resumption of normal work and academic activities.
Essential Services Staff:
While the polytechnic community enjoys the Easter break, various essential service arms of the institution are requested to ensure that their duties are maintained during the holidays. This includes security personnel, health workers, and other support staff who provide essential services to the campus community.

The security personnel on campus are directed by this announcement to exhibit extra vigilance in protecting lives and property during the Easter break. The safety of all members of the campus community remains a top priority for the institution.
Resumption of Activities:
Normal work and academic activities will resume for all staff and students on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. The management encourages all to take this time to rest and recharge before returning to their academic and professional duties.
