Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has released a notice regarding the Easter public holidays as declared by the Federal Government. Friday, April 7, and Monday, April 10, 2023, have been designated as public holidays to mark this year’s Easter celebrations. This post provides information on the University’s closure during the holidays, essential services officers’ duties, and resumption date for normal business.
Easter Public Holidays:
In line with the Federal Government’s declaration, LAUTECH will observe the following public holidays to celebrate Easter:
- Good Friday: Friday, 7th April 2023
- Easter Monday: Monday, 10th April 2023
During these days, the University will not be open for normal business, allowing staff and students to partake in the Easter celebrations.
Essential Services Officers:
While the University will be closed during the Easter public holidays, some officers on essential services may be required to be on duty. These officers will be duly informed in the usual manner, ensuring that critical operations continue to run smoothly during the holidays.
Resumption Date:
LAUTECH will resume normal business operations on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Staff and students are expected to return to their respective duties and academic activities from this date.
